Obituary RTHCR FELIX ROCHI~: was born in Bristol, Corm., on March 3, 1894. He received his early education in the elementary schools of Bristol and lat,er attended Holy Cross and Georgetown TVnivcrsities. He was graduated wit,h the degree of Doctor of Medicine in 1917 from the Georgetown Medical School. He served his internship at St. Francis IHospital, Hartford, Corm., and (:race Hospital in New Haven, Corm. He entered military scrvicc in World War I as a First Lieutenant in the Medical Corps, was discharged in 1919, alid entered the practice of pediatrics in Bristol, Vonn. In 1927 he moved to Hartford and practiced the specialty of Allergy, brcoming one of the first to practice this in the state and was soon recognized as an outst,anding allergist. IIis interest in allergy was measured by his many appoint,ments. Ife was in charge of ,Ulcrgy at the St. Francis Hospital, Hartford TXspensary, (lonsultant in LUlcrgy at, the Bristol Hospital, and was made a Fellow of the American :1cademy of Allergy at its inception in 1943. I)r. Rochc was a member of the C’onnccticut State ?cTedical Society, IIartford County Medical Association. Hartford Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. He was also a mcmbrr of the American Tlepion and the Exchange Club of West, Hartford. Ky his death on ,!pril II, 1953, t,he Acatlcmy has lost an outstanding allergist whose keen insight into the problems of the allergic sufferer vvill be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter.
