It is worth emphasizing that the aforementioned inequality can be proved in numerous statistical experiments. A sequence of estimators is said to be asymptotically efficient if it reaches the lower bound in [3.4]. √ For most of the regular experiments, the rate will be ϕ(n, ϑ) = n and will not depend on ϑ. However, singular experiments could have other rates (see example 3.4) and rates could depend on the parameter. It is worth mentioning that all estimators (not only unbiased) compete in the last notion of efficiency.
