Mr R.W. Rayner comments, "The Russula found in abundance on Ross Links, associated with Salix repens, resembled, according to Dr C. Bas, a form found in similar habitats in Holland. It falls within the range of forms included by Romagnesi under R. persicina Krombh, ss. Melzer-Zvara in his monograph. On the whole it resembles those he considers might possibly be referred to R. intactior Schaeff, but differs from them in certain respects and is, in consequence, intermediate between these and his R. p ersicina var. persicina. It seems to me it might well deserve a separate taxonomic rank." I should like to thank the many members who contributed names to this list and in particular, Mr P.C. Holland, Mr B. Ing (Myxomycetes and Uredinales), Dr M.A. Donk, Prof. A. Kaarik (Aphyllophorales), Mr R.D. Jennings, Dr O.H. Monthoux, Mr R.W. Rayner and Dr R. Watling (Agaricales), WjCdr C.H.
