2nd place: This picture shows the tear film evaluation of a 62 year old male patient using the keeler tearscope. This patient is used to wearing bifocal RGP lenses. 3rd place: Acute corneal hydrops occurs when the cornea stretches to such a degree that a tear develops in Descemet’s membrance, allowing inflow of aqueous fluid into the corneal stroma. The corneal stroma can swell to greater than five times its normal thickness Photograph by Maria Jose Bautista
