Best Review 2006 For some years it has been the practice of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Hospital Infection to consider all the review articles published by the Journal during the previous 12 months. Members of the Editorial Board score the reviews and reach a consensus as to which is considered ‘‘best’’ overall. The Journal of Hospital Infection is pleased to announce that for 2006 the best review was judged to be, ‘Factors involved in the aerosol transmission of infection and control of ventilation in healthcare premises’, by J.W. Tang, Y. Li, I. Eames, P.K.S. Chan and G.L. Ridgway. The authors of this review will therefore receive a donation of £100 from the Hospital Infection Society.
