NEUROTOXICOLOGY

CONFERENCE

The Third International Conference on Neurotoxicology of Selected Chemicals, Pyrethroids and Neuroactitie Pesticides, will be held in Chicago on 9912 September 1984. The conference will discuss molecular, cellular and behavioural aspects of a variety of pesticides, including pyrethroids, chlorinated hydrocarbons, organophosphates, carbamates and chlordimeform. CONFERENCE

An international conference entitled The Molecular Biologlt of Cancer is to be held in Boston, Massachusetts, on IO-12 September 1984. Sponsored by the journal Nature, the conference will cover topics including oncogenes, growth factors, hereditary cancer, carcinogenesis and promotors, drug resistance, monoclonal antibodies and new drugs. NEUROTOXICOLOGY

COURSE

A NATO Advanced Study Institute course on the toxicology of the nervous system will be held on 10-12 September 1984 in Belgirate, Italy. An integrated series of lectures will be given on current concepts and research strategies, and the topics to be discussed include the mechanisms of disorders resulting from low-level chronic exposures, actions and interactions of environmental agents, and methods and models in long-term neurotoxicity studies.
