These 1 IA inch a n d 2 inch air-operated, d o u b l e - d i a p h r a g m p u m p s are c a p a b l e of d e l i v e r i n g u p to 70 a n d 158 g p m r e s p e c t i v e l y a n d developing u p to 125 psi head pressures. The a b s e n c e of close fitting p a r t s allows s o l i d s to p a s s through the pump without harm. Abrasive and viscous p r o d u c t are also p u m p e d easily without damaging fluid characteristics. Flow rates a n d p r e s s u r e s are v a r i a b l e by s i m p l y a d j u s t i n g t h e a i r s u p p l y p r e s s u r e / v o l u m e or discharge head.

The first news to come from Grosvenor-Ciptek, the recent merger of Grosvenor Pumps a n d Ciptek, is a range of cleaning-inplace controls using SCADA. The n e w c o m p a n y , w h i c h m a n u f a c t u r e s the S a t u r n a n d J u p i t e r ranges of m o d u l a r CIP packages for process p l a n t a n d e q u i p m e n t , says SCADA will provide e n h a n c e d graphics to replace mimics or o p e r a t o r interfaces, e n a b l i n g modifications to be easily i n c o r p o r a t e d without costly changes. The n e w system will also provide fault a n d a l a r m records a n d will interface with Windows p r o g r a m m e s to offer clear records a n d m a n a g e m e n t information. SCADA is available for software a n d control systems on
Grosvenor-Ciptek CIP packages for the food, soft drink, brewing a n d dairy industries. The software a n d control systems are designed in-house with full documentation.

The u n i t is based on the injection principle, with a semi-open or closed impeller using a m e c h a n i c a l or double m e c h a n i c a l seal.
