Book review introduction In the past pages of Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution we have offered book reviews for our readers that summarize and evaluate books on a single reviewer basis. However, when we now receive an important text that deals with a topic of great interest to our readers, we shall solicit multiple reviews. evolutionary processes. Our first offering is a dual review of Molecular Evolution and Phylogenetics by M. Nei and S. Kumar. This volume is reviewed by a systematist (J.
