INTERNATIONAL METALLOGRAPHIC SOCIETY AND IMS-ASM SYMPOSIUM 8-11 July 1979
The 12th annual technical meeting of the International Metallographic Society and the IS M-ASM symposium--'Metallography as a Quality Control Tool'--is scheduled for 8-11 July 1979 at Tamiment in the Poconos, a 2200-acre resort in eastern Pennsylvania. The meeting also includes the annual IMS-ASM International Metallographic Contest and an exhibit of commercially available equipment. Attendees will receive copies of the Symposium papers and the technical meeting when published subsequently. The technical meeting features sessions on 'Chemical Analyses of Surfaces' and 'Structure-Property-Behaviour Relationships'. Further information about this event can be obtained from: George F.
