Call for JRN Editorial Board Members The Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing (ARIN) is seeking Editorial Board members for the Journal of Radiology Nursing (JRN). Duties of the Editorial Board Members include: Reviewing manuscripts for relevance and accuracy and making recommendations to the editor Promoting JRN to nursing, other health care providers, and the public community Mentoring novice authors Writing a manuscript or book review Helping recruit authors for the journal Attending an annual Editorial Board meeting, either in person or by telephone conference call Carrying out special duties as requested by the editor Editorial Board members are appointed to 1-year terms. Terms may be renewed up to a maximum of 5 consecutive years. Editorial Board members report to the Editor of JRN. Editorial Board members must meet the following qualifications:

Registered professional nurse or other professional (e.g., radiologist, technologist, physicist, pharmacist, administrator, attorney) Experience: Radiological practice in areas of education, practice, advocacy, administration, or research sufficient to develop considerable expertise in the area preferred. (Exception: applicants from other disciplines.) Prior editorial board membership on a peer-reviewed journal is beneficial but not necessary. Writing: Documented writing ability as evidenced by publication in a peer-reviewed journal or book. ARIN involvement: Membership for a minimum of 1 year. (Exception: applicants from other disciplines.)
