Changes to Editorial Team for Gene Expression Patterns I would like to thank Yumiko Saga, who is leaving the team of handling Editors of Gene Expression Patterns, and its sister journal, Mechanisms of Development, for all her excellent work for the journals. I am delighted to announce that two new handling Editors have joined the team, who further broaden its expertise: Mary Dickinson and Fumio Matsuzaki. Mary is at the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. Her research focusses on the roles of mechanical forces in vascular and heart morphogenesis in vertebrates, using genetics and live imaging in the mouse and zebrafish models. Fumio is at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology, Kobe, where he studies the mechanisms and roles of asymmetric division and cell polarity in neural stem cells in the developing brain, using both the Drosophila and mouse models.
