The Aquaskim B-400 belt-type oil skimmer, fabricated from stainless steel, provides an economical means of removing floating oil from water-based cleaning solutions, machine coolant, and process fluids. The oil skimmer mounts with a flange plate for quick and easy installation. It features a right- or left-hand configuration and ball-bearing shaft assembly. The weighted pulley maintains correct tension and the self-adjusting wiper blade allows for a continuous and trouble-free belt cleaning. Circle 401 on the re.der service card

Almco's aqueous, computer-controlled parts-cleaning system combines washing and drying machines with liquid filtration equipment in minimal floor space for maximum efficiency and labor savings. The system features a 24-in.-wide roller conveyor that 52
carries single parts or several on a rack. Filtration of the cleaning fluid is provided by an Almco cyclonic system, which removes particles down to 5 microns and tramp oils that produce bacteria and rancidity. When the solution is clean it is returned to the system for reuse in a process that improves part quality while reducing maintenance and disposal costs. BASF Corp.'s Industrial Coatings group has introduced Inova clearcoat, a one-component urethanequality automotive coating system. Inova clearcoats are used with solventborne basecoats and have flexible and rigid applications. The c1earcoat delivers performance advantages in gouge, scratch, mar, and etch resistance. Other advantages include exterior durability quality comparable to urethane-based clearcoats under the Florida testing standard and a wide application window.
A rechargeable 12-V DC battery with a front panel low-battery light is built into the pumps. The battery allows for continuous operation up to 2112 hours on each charge.
