Flexitallic has introduced a Windows driven software package which it says is c o m p r e h e n sive in its coverage of sealing products, design information a n d i n s t a l l a t i o n details. 'Gasket Advisor' is now commercially available in a distinctive corporate-look pack. C o m p a t i b l e with either desktop or l a p t o p c o m p u t e r s it offers 'front-end' advice on the company's p r o d u c t s a n d services. In particular, users will value the chemical c o m p a t i b i l i t y p a r t of the programme, which provides a p r o d u c t selector guide across the Flexitallic range, covering semi-metallic gaskets, sheet gasket materials, p u m p and valve seals a n d metallic gaskets. I n s t a l l a t i o n advice is covered in some detail a n d the design i n f o r m a t i o n also includes surface finishes, m a n u f a c t u r i n g tolerances, ASME standards, colour coding, d i m e n s i o n a l information, conversions and weight estimates.
