COMPLEX-FORMATION BETWEEN HETEROCYCLIC PETROLEUM COMPONENTS AND METAL HALIDES A. N. Plyusnin, N e f t e k h i m i y a 25, N o . 3, 417-425, 1985. THE compatibility of inorganic electron acceptors TiBr4, TiCI4, SnBr4, SnC14, SbCIs, FeC[3, COC12, CuClz, NiCI2 and CrCI3 with hydrocarbon media was examined. The application of these inorganic electron acceptors soluble in hydrocarbon media permits heterocyclic compounds to be separated from petroleums and petroleum products. It was shown that the use of synthetic acetone and triethylamine ligands enables oxygencontaining and aromatic compounds to be concentrated.
