STOP PRESS A US federal judge has been listening to the arguments of attorney Thomas A. Guidoboni for his client, Robert Morris. Morris was found guilty on 22 January of violating the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, when he released the Internet worm in November 1988. Arguments that the prosecutor’s language prejudiced Morris’ actions as that of a terrorist were deemed irrelevant by the judge. The 25 year old Cambridge, Massachusetts resident will be working as a programmer at Harvard University until sentencing, which has now been set for 4 May, 1990.
