Pictures & Perspectives Conjunctival Intraepithelial Neoplasia Conjunctival intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) in a patient with a history of basal cell carcinoma. He noticed a red lesion on his conjunctiva that developed over 4e5 months before presentation (Fig 1). Histopathology revealed conjunctiva with full-thickness replacement of epithelial layers with mildly dysplastic cells (Fig 2), exhibiting nuclear pleomorphism and dyskeratosis (asterisks). The cells had a low nucleus to cytoplasm ratio and a few mitotic figures.
