Connecting readers to the research information they need Since 1977, the Journal of Pragmatics has provided a forum for Linguists, Sociologists, Psychologists, Anthropologists, Computational Linguists & Philosophers for the study of linguistic pragmatics in order to increase our knowledge of the forms, functions, and foundations, of human interaction. As discussions on all of these fields expand, so readers require ever more flexible mechanisms to help them keep in touch with the latest developments.
