As the ship will operate worldwide, ABB Motors' global service network was an important factor in the selection process. • GEC Alsthom has won an order worth an estimated £25 million for the renovation of three pumping stations for the Egyptian Ministry of Public Works and Water Resources. The pumping stations are located at E1 Nasr and are used for the continued land development in the Nubarriya region of Egypt. The turnkey project will be managed by GEC Alsthom's Bergeron unit.
