Items "The Foundation Prize" of the American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists The award which shall be known as "'l'he Foundation Prize" shall consist of $500.00. Eligible contestants shall inclwle only (a) interns, residents, or graduate student,; in obstetrics and gynecology, and (b) persons with an M.D. degree, or a scientific degree approved by the Prize Awani Committee, who are actively practicing or teaching obstetric~, gynecology, or who are engage<1 in research in these fields. No fellow of the Association shall be eligible to compete for this prize, aml no candidate securing the awanl shall he eligible to compete again. Manuscripts must be limited to 5,000 words, and must be typewritten in double spaeing on one side of the sheet. Ample margins should be provide<1. Illustrations shoul<1 he limited to such as are required for a clear exposition of the thesis. American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology The next scheduled Examinations (Part II), oral and clinical for all candidates, will be conducted at the Edgewater Beach Hotel, Chicago, Illinois, by the entire Board from May 16 through 25. Formal notice of the exact time of eaeh candidate's examination will be sent him in advance of tho examination dates.
