Corrigendum

Corrigendum to “Astrocytic changes in the hippocampus and functional recovery after cerebral ischemia are facilitated by rehabilitation training” [Behav. Brain Res. 171 (1) (2006) 17–25] Teresita L. Briones ∗ , Julie Woods, Magdalena Wadowska, Magdalena Rogozinska, Mai Nguyen Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, University of Illinois, Chicago, IL 60612, United States

In this article, the Methods section is very similar to that in our previously published paper: Briones TL, Woods J, Wadowska M, Rogozinska M. Amelioration of cognitive impairment and changes in microtubule-associated protein 2 after transient global cerebral ischemia are influenced by complex environment experience. Behav. Brain Res. 2006 April 3; 168 (2): 261–271. Epub 2005 December 13. PMID: 16356557. Specifically, the similarities are on the cerebral ischemia, animal housing, tissue preparation, behavioral testing, and immunohistochemistry sections. Although the two projects are different, performing the above methods in our laboratory is the same. The error we wish to point out in this article is that the previous study was not cited in the Methods section. We truly apologize for not properly citing the previous article and T.L.B. takes full responsibility for the oversight. We thank the editors for alerting us to this issue.
