The above paper was inappropriately submitted to the Journal of Membrane Science by Dr. Yanbin Yun without the knowledge or approval of the coauthors. The research described in this paper was performed primarily by Dr. Peiyong Qin and Dr. Zhen Chen working under the direction of Prof. Cuixian Chen at Tsinghua University. Although Pierre Le-Clech and Guangxi Dong at the UNESCO Center for Membrane Science and Technology provided significant assistance to Dr. Yanbin Yun in the writing of the paper, they have now decided to be simply acknowledged as contributors to the manuscript. The correct authorship for this paper should be Peiyong Qina,b, Zhen Chenb, Yanbin Yunc, Jiding Lib, Cuixian Chenb,* College of Life Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing 100029, China b Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing 100084, China c College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Beijing Forestry University, Beijing 100083, China n Corresponding author at: Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing 100084, China. In addition, Fig. 7 in this paper shows images for a PPESK membrane and not for the polyphthalazinone ether ketone membrane that was the subject of this research. A corrected image and revised text is shown in Fig. 7.
Fig. 7. Change of gelation area over time. (A) Direct observation of gelation formation at 5 s after introducing the de-ionized water, (B) direct observation of gelation formation at 15 s after introducing the de-ionized water, and (C) comparison between (A) and (B), the area enclosed with red line shows the increase of gelation area between 5 s and 15 s.
