The authors regret that the printed version of the above article contains an incorrect sentence relating to the abstract. The original version of this article unfortunately contained a mistake. On page 1, in the Abstract, incorrect sentence is used: “In addition, the distances to the nearest (negatively) and second nearest (positively) neighbours significantly affected the probability of Corncrake occurrence”. It should be: “In addition, the distances to the nearest (positively) and second nearest (negatively) neighbours significantly affected the probability of Corncrake occurrence”. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
