We thank Sergei Pisarevsky for bringing to our attention an error in the stated geomagnetic pole position within our article (pp. 232, 237, and 242). The correct pole position should be 30.3◦ E/54.3◦ S, A95 = 2.6, n = 501. It was also discovered upon re-examination of supplementary data that some of the virtual geomagnetic poles (VGPs) stated were for the South pole, an updated supplementary file has been updated to list only North VGP directions. Despite this magnetic polarity assignments within the paper are correct.
