The authors regret that the following text on page 806 of the above published article was incorrect: In a range of concentrations between 0.1 and 50 lM, none of the tested compounds, except compounds 11 and 12, caused a significant reduction of the cell number when compared with controls. Compounds 11 and 12 exhibited weak cytotoxicity against U937 cell lines with IC50 values around 20 lM for 11, and 10 lM for 12, respectively. The correct text is as follows:
