Courage Cancer first seemed like the worst I could have cried or even died Surgery instead they cut my head Guess they tried three times I died When I awoke I'd had a stroke I could talk but never walk Not much could do I needed you Walk again never crippled forever To rehab went much money spent No pain, no gain The old refrain Then home at last the worst is past

Therapy there my wheelchair My friends there sure did care Kathy came to my home Time went by I didn't die One day I stood sure felt good Step-by-step I even wept When I fall the neighbors call At last I walked with brace and cane Disability they said to me Cane forever work again never
