The Desal-5 nanofiltration membrane can help close the loop in metal-finishing operations by separating soluble metals from acid. Clarified acid and process water may be returned to rinse or plating baths while metals are recovered. Desal’s spiralwound Desal-5 elements use patented materials of construction, including the Durasan cage outer wrap and wide-feed spacers, for longer element life and greater system efficiency.
