Davide Quaglia received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy) in 2003. Currently he is Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Verona (Italy). He is co-author of about 70 papers and member of IEEE. His current research interests include Networked Embedded Systems, Networked Control Systems, Cyber-Physical Systems. He is also co-founder and active project leader of EDALab s.r.l., a spin-off company of the University of Verona.

Marc Geilen is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. He holds an M.Sc. in Information Technology and a Ph.D. from the Eindhoven University of Technology. He has published more than 90 contributions to peer reviewed conferences and journals. His research interests include modeling, simulation and programming of multimedia systems, multiprocessor systems-on-chip, networked embedded systems and cyber-physical systems, as well as multi-objective optimization and trade-off analysis.
