Using the example of smoke-protection systems for the high-storied buildings the calculation method for quantitative evaluation of the efficiency of system operation in fire in conditions of stochastic external effects is developed. The calculation results for the buildings of seven designs are represented. The ways of cardinal improvement of smoke-prevention system opeation for the high-storied buildings are shown. The mathematical model for dynamics of parameters for gaseous atmosphere (pressure, mean volume temperature and aerosol concentration) is developed. Laboratory tests in the chamber with the volume of 50 dm 3 were carried out. The confirmed the ability to predict the overpressure ~P in premises with low seal failure in the presence of operating generator (GOA) by means of use of above mentioned model.
