What is the link between these five conditions? (See p. 228)
1. A firm mass arising in the buttock, deep to gluteus maximus. On examination? solid? Firm--cystic. 2. A firm-hard mass, accompanied by severe, constant aching pain, arising following three previous operations for 'parotid tumour'. There is some facial nerve weakness. 3. A pedunculated mass, present 'as long as the patient can remember'. 4. A bleeding, ulcerated tumour presenting through the anus, history 3 weeks. 5. Firm mass on the back of the neck, gradually growing over three years following removal of a 'lipoma'.
