Dorothy Warburton (1936–2016) Terry Hassold, Ernest B. Hook,* and Patricia A. Jacobs (The American Journal of Human Genetics 99, 5–7; July 7, 2016) In the originally published version of this obituary, the first right-column paragraph on page 6 unfortunately misrepresented Dorothy Warburton’s role in the American College of Medical Genetics. The paragraph should begin as follows: ‘‘Dorothy unstintingly gave her time and energy to assist others. She volunteered for numerous activities to benefit the clinical genetics community. She was a founding fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and also a member of the founding board of directors of the American Board of Medical Genetics, for which she served as treasurer and helped to make up queries for the first group of examinees for the board. Along with the other examiners, she had to take the next examination to become board certified and a fellow herself, a requirement she took with good humor.’’ The error has been corrected online, and the authors apologize for any confusion this may have caused. *Correspondence: [email protected] http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.ajhg.2016.08.013.
