Acrison International has launched a small-scale version of its rapid discharge feeder, the 170-00. The new machine, the 105-00, is said to be a small volumetric feeder, ideal for low feed rates and small installations. The company says that it has been produced in response to customer demand for small adaptable units that are suitable for a wide range of products. The 105-00 has a double con-

If within the 6Oday period, the customer decides that the performance of an extruder with a standard extrmkr co&gnration is not acceptable, then we will take back the extruder and refund 100% of the payments made to Entek. The customer would onIy pay for shipping the extruder to and from our factory,” he adds. The company is aho expanding its extrusion division and wiil open a new 37,000ff building in April. According to Acrison’s managing director Doug Henry, there is a clear need for process plants to be able to produce more varieties of their core products. The Acrison 105-00 is all stainless steel and can now be installed in difftcult locations as a multipurpose unit.
The company has also introduced a new weigh feed controller. The Acrison MD II 2000 is a multiprocessor controller that is now even easier to use through an optional touch screen, which is available at the same price as the current keyboard display unit. The information is displayed with clear graphical images, so training time for operators has decreased significantly, while
