EagleBurgmann opens GasketXpress production centre

agleBurgmann Germany GmbH & Co Kg has opened a production centre in Wolfratshausen, Germany, that is capable of producing and delivering standard and special gaskets at short notice. The GasketXpress Production Center has been set up to manufacture a range of products, including metal spiral-wound gaskets, serrated gaskets and ring-type joints, tailored fabric seals in all common US ASME and European EN standard sizes, and special seals – according to customer specifications or drawings – in diameters up to 4 m. The company says that production is combined with a stock-keeping programme that has been specially adapted to the requirements of the European process industry. This enables 16

it to offer an emergency service and supply products within 24 hours of an order being received by an EagleBurgmann subsidiary or the service centre network. An in-house test laboratory for in-process testing ensures 100% reproducibility and that gaskets are manufactured to a consistently high quality. In addition, further production units – equipped with gasket cutting plotters and spiral-wound gasket machines – have been set up at various other locations worldwide, says the firm.
