EAOG TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS Since 1989 the EAOG has offered travel scholarships for young scientists studying in the field of Organic Geochemistry/Biogeochemistry. This offer is being continued. The scholarships are intended to foster international exchange, by providing young scientists the opportunity to undertake research in a country other than their own, through utilizing facilities in a host laboratory and by exchanging ideas, expertise and techniques. Several scholarships are available each year, the value of each is up to 6000 Dutch Florins (approx. 3600 US dollars).
