After purchasing Poliolchimica, Morton buys again in Italy Following close on its purchase of the Italian company Poliolchimica SpA Morton International has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire the Comiel Division of Reagens Comiel SpA which produces lubricants for PVC and other plastics, and polyester resins. The deal will add sales of nearly $20 million to Morton’s speciality chemicals business. There is also benefit for the US group’s global expansion plans for plastics additives, with both products and knowledge of markets.
