Using ElektroPhysik’s patented F1.6P Powder Probe, the thickness of a powder applied before baking can be measured. With the Powder Probe, one can measure the exact amount of powder applied before baking. Then, simply measuring the same spot after baking will give you the shrinkage factor allowing you to determine the exact amount of powder required to achieve the cured thickness requirement.
