EDITOR-IN-CHIEF wishes to express his gratitude and appreciation to colleagues who have reviewed articles over the past year. Considerable responsibility rests on referees to uphold a high standard of published papers. This is becoming increasingly important since the Press have imposed restrictions on the size of the journal.
