Editorial N o t e The six following papers are based on lectures given during the Refresher Course in Audiology organized by the School Health Service Group in May 1972. The Course was organized in the Department of Audiology and Education of the Deaf at the University of Manchester, whose generous help the Group wishes to acknowledge. Further papers front the Course will be published in later issues.
