Issues

Safety Science is interested in publishing special issues on topics which fall within the scope of the journal. These can be based upon a conference or symposium on a safety science subject or on the initiative of a distinguished researcher in a particular field. The special issue normally consists of a selection of the best papers presented at the conference, subject to the normal refereeing standards of the journal and produced under the guest editorship of the conference organiser. The selection and editing of papers is under the overall supervision of the journal editor Professor Andrew Hale. An agreed number of free issues can be made available for the conference participants. Conference organisers interested in exploring this possibility are asked to contact Professor Hale to discuss their proposals.
