This study aims to characterize the quality of life in women in the menopause period who participate in the health actions developed in the Family Health Strategy of the Municipality of Goiatuba-GO, Brazil, specifically in the actions of health promotion developed by Education professionals, recently inserted in collective health. For that, a descriptive study was carried out. The sample consisted of 135 women, aged 45–65 years, who attend physical activities in the NASF, for a period superior to six months. In a quantitative approach, the adapted instrument for the evaluation of QOL (SF36) was used. The results show that the general health status (very good and good) corresponded to 83.7; the functional capacity for strict activities only 20.0 do not present difficulty; vitality corresponded to 60.4; in relation to mental health 22.9 present different degrees of depression; 48.2 show that most of the time they are happy; 84.4 do not reduce their activities for emotional reasons; 65.2 have mild or very mild pain and 63.7 have reported that this interferes a little or moderately at work. It is concluded that actions developed favor the improvement of quality of life of women who attend the program developed by the Family Health Support Center; there is a need for greater integration of physical education professionals in health teams, as well as reflection on the training of this professional in the importance of contents derived from collective health; Resources for health promotion for the well-being of the population. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.maturitas.2017.03.165 P066 Effect of group counseling on quality of life of menopausal women in Iran Parisa Parsa 1,∗ , Roya Ahmadinia Tabesh 2 , Farzaneh Soltani 2 , Manoochehr Karami 3 1

During this phase many women face with problems that can cause health problems and disturb their quality of life. This study aimed to investigate the effect of counseling on quality of life in postmenopausal women conducted in 2015 in Hamadan, Iran. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, 80 postmenopausal women were randomly selected and allocated to case and control group (40 per group). Data collection tool included questionnaires of demographic information and quality of life during menopause, which were completed by the samples before the intervention. In the case group, training program was run during 4 sessions in the form of weekly consulting sessions for 45–60 min. Training program included familiarity with menopause symptoms, confrontation and self-care during this period. In control group, only routine care affairs were conducted. Three months after interven-

tion, information were collected using questionnaire in both groups and they were analyzed using SPSS 16 software. Results: Before the intervention, mean (SD) for quality of life in case group was 101.2 (31.4) and it was significantly decreased to 96.9 (27.0) after intervention (p < 0.05). While no significant change was observed in the control group (from 98.9 (35.5) to 102.3 (35.0), p = 0.443). Symptoms of vasomotor, psychosocial, physical and sexual dimensions significantly improved in the case group (p < 0.001). While there was no significant change in the control group. Conclusion: Findings suggested impact of consulting on improvement of quality of life during menopause. Supportive consulting can be a suitable approach for improving women’ health, reducing problems and enhancing quality of life of women in menopause period. Introduction: Menopause is a physiological process of physical change and emotional. The quality of life has been increasingly recognized in terms of satisfaction and well-being in relation to expectations and goals achieved and reflect the intensity of symptoms and level of physical and emotional losses. Objective: To evaluate quality of life of Brazilian women after menopause, residents in the city of Cac¸apava. Methodology: Cross-sectional study with 80 postmenopausal women treated at a health care, assessed by the validated instrument by WHO WHOQOL Bref in the physical, psychological, social relationships and environment. Results: The physical domain had mean (52.49 ± 9.10), the social relationships domain (64.09 ± 12.45), psychological (51.12 ± 12.59), environmental revealed (55.1 ± 10.72). Conclusion: We found scores compatible with satisfactory quality of life. The married had a higher chance of being among the best scores in the Social Relations domains.
