Closed & open circuit pump range can handle any power source Linde has upgraded its Series 01 range of medium duty pumps and motors. Typically operating at pressures up to 350bar, the new Series 01 models are available for both closed and open circuits. The three units available are the MPV -01 Variable Pump (Closed Circuit),

the MPR -01 Variable Pump (Open Circuit), and the MMF 01 Fixed Motor (Closed and Open Circuit). Pump input speeds are up to 3,800rpm for closed circuit units and up to 3,OoOrpin for open circuit units. Motor speeds are available at up to 4,OOOrpm.

The new Series -01 units are suited to a wide range of uses including mobile and industrial applications. The new range has a 2-bolt mounting flange, SAE drive shaft and SAE flange ports, as well as swash-plate design. Through-shaft (PTO) is also possible.

Efficient new pump for

heating applications The new Grundfos Magna series of mid-sized circulator pumps has the ability to automatically adjust its own speed in response to prevailing heating system conditions. Pre-programmed performance parameters and constant mathematical calculations enable the pump to run at the most efficient duty point at all times, allowing end-users to heat their premises for less. The new pump takes advantage of recent developments in power electronics to achieve maximum efficiency via enhanced control. All the electronic components in the ‘terminal box’ are fitted to one enhance circuit board to reliability. The advanced software means that in 80% of installations there’s no need to make any manual adjustment to pump settings. The electronic AUTO mode automatically finds the correct settings by registering conditions in the system. Sophisticated internal electronics are combined with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). The PMSM technology, and enhanced electronic control, means the Grundfos Magna only uses about half the amount of energy of a conventional pump.
