International Heat Transfer Conferences are held every four years. The 1986 conference in San Francisco will be the first in the U.S.A. in twenty years. More than four hundred and fifty contributed papers and thirty invited ones will be presented. They cover the spectrum of technical areas in heat transfer and related fields from basic studies to applications. The regular registration fee includes six volumes of papers, attendance at the plenary session, invited lectures, and the poster sessions that will be held daily. A number of other informational and social activities will be held. The registration fee before August 1 is $200.00. It is still possible to participate through an open forum in the form of posters and through contributed films.
