The microprocessor-controlled Sigmatest D is a battery-operated, eddy-current tester for measurement of specific electrical conductivity in a range from 0.5 to 65 MS m -1 (1 to 100% IACS). Measurement is performed with interchangeable probes. A lift-off compensation facility (up to 0.5 mm) gives precise measurement on rough, dirty or painted material surfaces.

Ultrasonic testing instrumentation

It can be operated at any of four frequencies: 60, 120, 240 and 480 kHz, and the measured value can be stored in the battery-buffered memory. A connection facility for an external temperature sensor, memory card, statistical analysis facilities and an RS 232 serial interface for a printer or PC are provided. Up to

An ultrasonic testing instrumentation package, the Series A X - 2 2 0 0 / S , has been announced by American NDT, The unit is rugged in construction to enable operation in hostile environments such as steel mills, foundries, etc. It has the capability of operating up to 256 separate transducers/channels from its single mainframe. A high speed, 16-bit internal computer controls all required functions, as well as performing self-checks on a continuous basis.

Electrical conductivity meter from F6rster eight measurements per second are possible with external triggering.
