Mega slurry pump GIW Industries has developed a low flow rate slurry pump. The Mega Slurry Pump is a 40- 125, 1 S inch discharge, high performance, low maintenance pump designed specifically to handle light to medium slurries. It features a flow rate of up to 200 gallons per minute (45 m3/h); a total dynamic head of 100 feet (30 m), and a three vane, open shroud impeller that allows for the passage of large solids and

Eliminate need for mechanical seals Magnatex Pumps, Inc. specializes in providing cost-effective fluid handling solutions for critical pumping applications such as ultra-pure, corrosive, toxic or noxious fluid transfer. Its range of Texel Pumps provides superior performance value, leak-free reliability and long life. Texel Pumps feature seal-less mag-drive designs that eliminate the need for a mechanical seal, thus reducing maintenance and enhancing productivity. Their fluoropolymer linings offers superior chemical corrosion resistance making them compatible with mineral and organic acids, bases, alcohols, hydrocarbons and halogens. Critical product features include close-coupled designs engineered for standard C-face motors; highstrength, rare earth magnets for efficient power; non-metallic containment shell to prevent the hysteresis losses associated with alloy designs; and a variety of fluoropolymer linings, including PFA, to preserve product purity and resist corrosion. Magnatex Pumps, Inc. also offers MagnatexQ brand metallic sealless mag-drive pumps for the handling of high-purity, toxic or noxious fluids.

Designed primarily to pump wastewater laden with coarse or fine solids, it has a variety of industrial applications, including gland water supply. Moreover, it allows GIW to offer its mining customers a more complete range of products. The wet end is made of GIW’s proprietary Gasite@ WD28G,

to withstand wear and deliver long life. This differentiates the pump from comparable models made of softer gray irons that cannot withstand the effects of slurry. The wet end will also be available in Gasite T9OG, a super-alloyed white iron that stands up to pH levels of less than three, making the pump applicable for chemical use.
