SPONTANEOUS BACTERIAL ASCITES-PEIUTOMTIS AND BACTERIAL TBANS~ATION ON PATJENTS wrrHTHELIVERclRRHosI!3 A.Pereiaslov, S.Chooklin Me&CalUmvennty, LVN, Ukraine The spontaneous ascites-peritonitis developed on approximately of 20% patients with decompensativc liver cmhosis. It connected, in the first turn, with the bacterial transkxxtion henomena. The main link of its development is the damage of &owe1 wall. The ascites-peritonitis evokes, as the rule, by the monomicrobial gram-negative flora (more often Escherichia taneous bacterial coli). Examination of patients with the s ascites-peritonitis showed, that in it JGz ostic the great importance belongs to the clinical data (resistant ascites, abdominal pain, tenderness on palpation, hyp+erm@) and cytologic and bacteriologic inves@ations_ of ascetic fled also. The main criterion of the ascites’ contammation is the quantity of polymorphonuclear leukocytes more than 250/mm3 and often more than 5000/n& and the presence of bacterial endotoxin in ascitic fluid.
