It is regretted that there is an error in the caption to Figure 6. The correct caption should read: ˚ through the DHPR 3D structure taken perpendicular to the C2 axis, i.e. as viewed Figure 6. Slices at 11 A looking down onto the membrane. Slices start from the top through to the bottom of the structure (as defined in the legend to Figure 5). Box size, 26 nm £ 26 nm. The Publishers would like to apologise for this error and any inconvenience caused.
