Erratum
Erratum to “Inclusive lepton production from heavy-hadron decay in pp collisions at the LHC” [Nucl. Phys. B 872 (2013) 253–264] Paolo Bolzoni ∗ , Gustav Kramer II Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Hamburg, Luruper Chaussee 149, 22761 Hamburg, Germany Received 5 August 2013; accepted 7 August 2013 Available online 21 August 2013
Due to a programming mistake in the code to evaluate the fragmentation functions to leptons we had to recompute the cross sections for the production of leptons (e± , μ± ) originating from

charm and bottom-hadrons in the various cases. In particular we have redone the computation of Figs. 2–5 of the paper (corresponding here to Figs. 1–4) with the corrected error. Concerning the comparison of the data with the corrected theoretical predictions the following remarks are needed. In Fig. 1 the data agree well with the full curve (default scale choice) in both cases, the CMS and the ALICE data. In Fig. 2, where the predictions in comparison with the ATLAS data are shown, the comparison of the data with the predictions is not so good. The data in all three figures are mostly below the predictions for the default scale choice. The comparison with the ALICE data in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 is very satisfactory. The updated plots are given here in what follows (the references in the captions of the figures are as in the paper).
