Editor's Note

Evaluation News Becomes Evaluation Practice In order to increase the value of Evaluation News both to the members of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and to the broader evaluation profession, the Evaluation Network and AEA Boards have decided to change its name to Evaluation Practice. Concurrently, substantive articles, reports, and other information of value to evaluators will be emphasized by placing them at the beginning of each issue. No other changes are contemplated. As substantive information about evaluation practice has always been a central part of EN, we believe that the new name, Evaluation Practice, more accurately describes both the intent and content of the quarterly publication. Please continue to submit articles and reports about ongoing evaluation projects, issues that concern evaluators, lessons learned in doing evaluations, craft reports, and timely pieces about evaluation-related organizations and their activities. We will endeavor to continue the fine work of Michael Scriven, Barbara Gross Davis, and their collaborators in editing the earlier volumes of EN. If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact the editor. R. Tony Eichelberger School of Education 5e23 Forbes Quadrangle Pittsburgh, PA 15260
