Exhibitors Plan International Fete

T

he Exhibitors’ Evening, Tuesday, Feb 26, will transform the lower level of the Dallas Convention Center for ‘‘World Alive ’85-An International Festival. ”Entertainment will highlight three areas of the world-Europe, Latin countries, and the Pacific. All Congress attendees are encouraged to wear a costume or article of clothing representative of their favorite countly. Representing the European tradition, a Bavarian ensemble and Greek festival band and dancers will perform twice during the evening. Between performances, a contemporary band will provide further entertainment for the dancers in the crowd. Bavarian pretzels and mustard will be the featured food in the European area. The Royal Drum and Steel Band with limbo dancers and the Mexican festival dancers will provide the Latin flavor. These two groups will also perform twice during the evening. Nachos will be the “mood food.” A Polynesian show and an Oriental attraction will provide pleasures of the Pacific. The featured food will be fruit kabob. Entertainment will begin at 8 PM, with the groups performing a total of 12 times throughout the evening. Wandering mimes and mariachis will contribute spontaneous treats for the crowd. A limited number of coupons will be given to registrants to use for their choice of a featured beverage from each area.

Admission to the Exhibitor’s Evening will be your Congress badge. Be sure to register before 5 PM on Tuesday to take advantage of this funfilled festival. No other hospitality events will take place at the same timk. Current members of the Exhibitors’ Advisory Committee, who planned and executed this event, are Robert B.
