EXMATECH 94 The 2nd Workshop on Expert Evaulation and Control of Compound Semiconductor Materials and Technologies will be held in Parma, Italy, from 18-20th May, 1994. The list of topics includes: new properties and defects of bulk crystals and epilayers; technology-induced m o d i f i c a t i o n s o f e l e c t r i c a l and s t r u c t u r a l characteristics; relationships between defects and device performance; characterization techniques for assessment of materials as well as technological steps.

The Sixth Indium Phosphide and related Materials Conference (IPRM VI) will be held from March 28th to 31st, at Fess Parker's Red Lion Inn Resort, Santa Barbara, CA, USA.
The 3rd International Symposium on Atomic Layer Epitaxy and elated Surface Processes (ALE-3) will be held in Sendai,Japan, on 25-27 May, 1994.
