To further support and advance European science, FEBS, together with the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO), the European Life Science Organisation (ELSO),
and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) have joined with other organisations to establish the European Life Sciences Forum (ELSF). The aim of the Forum is among many things to enable the European Community to speak with a uni¢ed voice and to take joint action on matters of common interest. The current president of ELSF is J.E. Celis (Copenhagen, Denmark), e-mail: [email protected] and the Executive Coordinator is L. van Dyck (Heidelberg, Germany), e-mail: [email protected]
